My Year of Meats - Ruth L. Ozeki

This was a strange book - it centered on a Japanese tv show about American Wives who cook meat. With it there was a clash of cultures, corruption of the meat industry, romantic attachments on the road and standing up for what you believe in. All in all, it was a good read.
