The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman

I have had this book sitting around forever. It is a hardcover, first edition so it was not a book to throw around like I do with many paperbacks.

I am glad that I finally sat down and read it.

Neil Gaiman is a fantastic author. I enjoy how he can write for so many different audiences. This book is recommended for for children 9-12 years. It was fantastic. I enjoyed the characters - Bod, the ghosts and his "guardians" You got the impression of who or what some of the people where without being directly told.

The ending leaves me hoping for the further adventures of Bod but I also think that leaving it up to our imaginations is nice.
