The Cider House Rules - John Irving

I had seen the movie of this a while back and thought that it was pretty good so when I found the book on the dollar shelf at Half Price books I thought it would be worth a read. The book was really good. It is pretty long and detailed and gave such a rich story. Though the book centers on abortion and orphans/adoption, the story did not read like a political diatribe.
