Dead to the World - Charlaine Harris

So, in this book, the sexy boss guy vampire has lost his memory and Sookie takes him in. In some ways, it is really sweet but it is almost as if she is keeping him as a pet.

Also, one of the things that I really find hard to understand is the extreme tie that some people have to their homes and where they grew up. With all the bad things that keep happening to her, my advice would be to move far away and start over but that is not something that would seem to occur to this character.
