To Kill a Mocking Bird - Harper Lee

This is one of those books that "everyone" has read and that I had not. I did some strange jumping around in my high school english classes and missed some of the books that "everyone" reads.

My 9th grade students read this book and one day a student left a copy in my room. I took it home and read it that night and brought it back the next day.

I thought it was interesting and I can see why this is a book that is often part of curriculum. It brings in so many ideas and good points to talk about. I am glad that I've read it.
